Having Identified the need to help avoid cross contamination/infection for regular users of disposable and reusable ear plugs, Detectamet of Pocklington UK are pleased to announce the launch of their very own range of Detectable and Non-Detectable Colour Coded Hygienic Hearing Protection System.

The New “Clean Ear” System has the unique benefit of different coloured reusable ear plugs i.e Red = Left Ear & Blue = Right Ear on either end of a cord or Expandaband (adjustable head band). Available in many colour combinations Detectamet are able to manufacture the System to suit customers colour preference / requirements.
The “Clean Ear” reusable ear plugs are manufactured from medical grade silicone material in 2 or 3 flange styles, the two flange patented design which has a SNR rating of 24 and three flange SNR rating of 25 exerts only sufficient pressure within the ear canal to ensure the required acoustic seal. The “Clean Ear” range of reusable earplugs have been designed for maximum comfort and performance.

The new system also includes a unique Hygienic Storage box, the “Clean Ear” storage box has been specifically designed to enhance reusable ear plug hygiene and safety. This box has clearly marked individual storage compartments for Left or Right plug, drain holes to allow air to pass through to assist in drying the plugs after washing / cleaning etc. Manufactured from high impact resistant plastic in both detectable and non-detectable plastic versions it is compact (62mm long x 40mm wide x 23mm deep) and lightweight (17gms) and easy to clean.
The storage box also has a facility incorporated within the design for the user to attach a safety chain or lanyard to help keep the plugs convenient, clean and protected in between use.
